There is no fee to become a seller on GunsAmerica, and the identity check is free. We do not charge a verification fee.
How seller signup works
- Create your GunsAmerica account and confirm your email address.
- Tell us whether you are selling as a private seller or as an FFL dealer, and enter your seller details.
- Add a credit card to your seller account. This card is used for any fees on your account, such as after-sale fees on national listings, listing enhancement fees, and membership fees.
- Choose your seller plan. You can compare current plans and fees at https://gunsamerica.com/membership.
- Complete a quick identity check. You will upload a picture of your government-issued ID (such as a driver’s license, state ID card, or passport) and take a selfie. The system compares your selfie to your ID photo to confirm that it is you and that the information you entered during signup is correct.
The identity check usually takes only a few minutes, but it can be delayed if the information on your account does not match your ID. Once your identity is confirmed, you can post your first listing. For step-by-step help, see How do I list an item on GunsAmerica?
