Make an Offer on Multi-Seller (Merged) Products

On merged / multi-seller product pages, Make an Offer can broadcast your offer to all active sellers for that item — not just one seller. The first valid acceptance wins.

Single-listing Make an Offer still works the way existing Help describes. This article covers extra rules when the product page has multiple active sellers from a merged distributor feed.

For buyers

Before you offer

Log in to GunsAmerica.
Open the merged / canonical product page (seller comparison / Buy From a Seller may appear on the same page).
Enter a positive numeric offer amount.
Submit Make an Offer. Your offer goes to all active sellers for that item.

One active offer at a time: You cannot submit a second active offer on the same item while one is still pending.

How the winning seller is chosen

Auto-accept path

If your offer meets or exceeds one or more sellers’ auto-accept thresholds, GunsAmerica evaluates immediately.
If more than one seller qualifies:

Award to the seller with the highest feedback score
If still tied → the seller with the highest total completed sales

Manual path

If no seller auto-accepts, the offer is broadcast for manual acceptance.
The first seller to accept (by timestamp) wins.
Later accepts are rejected.

When someone accepts

You are notified with the seller name, final price, and a checkout link.
Complete checkout with that seller to finish the purchase.

Pending offers, rescind, and counters

Existing single-listing ideas still matter where they apply: pending windows, rescinding while pending, and seller counters (sellers *can* counter — see the Counter Offers Help article).

After one seller wins, other sellers cannot accept that offer. Their dashboard should reflect a fulfilled / rescinded / rejected state as appropriate.

Checkout

Accepted offers do not hold inventory until you check out (same idea as existing Counter Offers Help). Shipping and tax may still apply at checkout.

For sellers

Receiving a broadcast offer

Multi-seller offers arrive through your existing seller dashboard / messaging / My Offers flows.
Your Auto Accept, Auto Reject, and manual review settings still apply per listing, and those thresholds stay private (same as today’s Make an Offer for sellers).
You may approve, decline, or counter when the offer sits between your thresholds — subject to multi-seller race rules below.

First-accept and “already claimed”

Only the first acceptance by timestamp is honored (auto or manual).
If another seller accepts first, the offer is fulfilled for them; a late accept is rejected and you should get an outcome notification in-product (dashboard / offer status).
Treat “offer already claimed / fulfilled by another seller” as a normal outcome on merged products — move on to the next offer.

Counters on multi-seller offers

You can still use Counter Offer from My Offers on pending offers (one counter per buyer offer in the existing counter flow). On multi-seller items, countering may affect whether other sellers can still act on that buyer’s offer.
